This week Seenit’s CTO and all round oracle Dave Starling was in California for Couchbase connect 2016. Couchbase connect is an annual conference in Silicon Valley ‘where the best Dev and Ops minds in NoSQL get together‘ to discuss what they’re doing in tech and how they use Couchbase.
Seenit relies on Couchbase’s Full Text Search (FTS) and Dave is a ‘Couchbase Developer Expert’, meaning he gets early access and insight into Couchbase’s capabilities and direct contact with experts in the company. Deservedly, he was asked to talk about how he applies FTS, in combination with N1QL, over machine learning at Seenit.
His live streamed presentation was at 4pm PST, or 2am GMT, so Team Seenit watched it the next day. The talk was very impressive and we’re so proud of him!
We can’t wait for him to come back and ask him about his trip, especially as he was in the US amidst the election madness!
