“… we’ll be showing you the behind the scenes of our Royal Wedding experience”
And the members of public invited to the event of the year, sure did!
It was announced in March that 1,000 people from the British public were invited to the Royal Wedding. That’s over two months of excitable buildup so the BBC followed several people who had a seat waiting for them at Windsor Castle on May 19th.
Invites weren’t given to anyone. They were earned by people doing amazing charity work. The BBC championed their achievements & introduced them to the world using Seenit for their “Meet the Guests” series.
Our app allowed the BBC to easily collect vlogs from attendees, such as 12-year-old Jorja Furze who was super energetic & great on camera, which they edited together as a group video.
The fun didn’t stop there. Seenit was used to document invitees’ journey across the UK. They travelled by train, plane, & car to witness Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s matrimony so it was awesome to join them for the ride & see how they prepared - outfits included!

The “Meet the Guests” videos perfectly captured the feeling of unity that comes with a Royal event. We are so glad the BBC used Seenit to highlight the amazing people that make Britain what it is.
