B-Roll: Socialising

What is this project about?
This project's aim is to build up our library of b-roll for future edits. What is B-Roll? B-roll footage is the extra video clips that help tell your story. Think of watching a video about working in an office. The main footage might be someone talking to camera about their job. The b-roll would include clips of people typing on computers, making coffee, or meeting with colleagues.

What do I need to do?

  • Below there are some 'scenes' record 2-3 clips around 10 seconds each so we can mix and match the footage.

  • Focus on the visuals.

  • Background noise? No problem as we'll be using this to supplement speaking videos.

  • You can take videos in both portrait or landscape - both formats will be used for future edits
