Seenit Photo Competition 2019 #GoodbyeStock

Before starting to work at Seenit 6 months ago, I was a photographer. Excited about the great product Seenit offers and inspired by my background, it was soon pretty obvious to me that my first ever project at Seenit - run through the Seenit platform - was going to be an internal photo competition, with the aim of everyone at Seenit sharing some of their personal stories.

I thought it would be a great opportunity for engaging with and getting to know the team while at the same time replacing some of the stock footage they were using for decks and presentations.

The competition had 410 entries and is now the foundation of our new brand stock library, all captured using Seenit and by our team.

Running the project was amazing; there’s nothing quite like using the product that you sell everyday in such a hands on way. What was truly remarkable about running the competition was the range of images that were being submitted; they felt more real, more human. Each picture had a story behind it - a story worth telling. Something that you just don’t feel like you get from a stock website. Here’s to saying Goodbye to Stock!

After what I think has been a great success, I am happy to present the final nominations and ultimately champion the winners for each category of the Seenit Photo Competition.
